The Little Rock housing project is going along as planned. There will be towels and blankets up in the windows in no time!
In a squeaker last night, the Red Lake Boys & Girls Club members defeated the Club Staff by the score of 63-62. Led by Ryan Holthusen and Aaron Beaulieu, the members were able to hold on to the lead as Harvey Roy III missed the game winning shot and Paul S.'s put back was blocked from behind as time expired. Game 2 will be on July 1... when the NBA Finals gets to game 3.
In other sports, Red Lake High School's Rob Pemberton followed up his opening round of 80 on Wednesday with a 9th place finish in the Minnesota State tournament. The whole 'rez' congratulates the recent graduate on a fine season and thanks him for inspiring the youth of our nation.
In other news, 94 Warriors has declared a media war on RLNN.COM. 94 Warriors promises to bring more relevant news to the Red Lake Nation with real stories from Makwambe to Big Stone that actually have something to do with us and promises to not be the 'Debbie Downer' of Indian Country by not posting all the assaults and robberies that involve the 'sweethearts' of northern Minnesota. "You have been warned," says 94 Warriors CEO Lydell J. Roberts.
In a recent poll, Bebo was considered to be only for 'drama queens.' The poll asked a CEO of an independent video production business on the Red Lake Indian Reservation which social networking site was the most useless. He also added, "Hey man, I'm just keepin' it real."
The world is mourning the loss of a 70's icon today as news of David Carradine was found dead in his Thailand hotel room of an apparent suicide. He is most remembered from his role as Caine in 'Kung Fu' and more recently of the Quentin Tarantino film, 'Kill Bill.' He was 72.
Construction on the new 7 Clans Casino - Red Lake is in full swing this summer and it looks REALLY SMALL! When we asked a resident of the Little Rock community who recently ran for district representative, about the development on the project, he said, "Are you f***in' serious? I thought that sh*t was going to be bigger. Is this going to be like the original River Road where we have a tiny shack and add on bits and pieces over the years? How do we expect to bring in Winger and Jackyl to our caseen for some good ol' fashioned rock and roll?!" The project is expected to be finished in time for freezing temperatures and to take away Christmas present money away from local families.

For the past few weeks, the company has been going through a lot of adversity. With family coming first here at 94 Warriors, we had to take some time, step back and reevaluate what was important and focus on those that we care about most. Now that we're back to where we think we need to be, it's time to get back at doing what we do best: boring the masses. We are back and, somewhat in control.
After years of tom foolery, ballyhoo and shenanigans, it's time to take over this pile of dirt we call The World... only with a lot less effort, a lot more "Rez" attitude and swearing. And being as cheap as I am, and in these uncertain economic times, I prefer to go with the do-it-yourself route in regards to a website. (And yes, I realize that my picture resembles MacGruber.)
What do we do here at 94 Warriors, you ask?
We first started out as a video production business only in December 2006. But with more and more ideas coming out of places I'd rather not discuss, we are branching out into more areas soon, such as a clothing line, photography studio, news headlines with a 94 WARRIORS edge to it and a sweet nickname giving shop.
We will bring you the best (and the worst) that the "Rez" has to offer
The "Rez" is a weird place, man. It has many stories to tell but not many leave these invisible barriers we call the "Rez Line." And I believe that is why God created me; to be the blabber mouth of the Red Lake Indian Reservation! We are a lot less depressing than rlnn.com and a whole lot cooler too. Yeah, I said it! What?!
